It’s official! We’ve adopted the babies!

“Do you Victor Von Doom take Namor McKenzie as your lawfully wedded husband?”
“I do.” He smiled his eyes closed as they remained standing close to each other. fore heads touching, hands clasped.
“Do you take each other to honor and cherish? To have and to hold? For richer or poorer? In sickness and in health? For better or worse? For as long as you both shall live?”
Both men answered together.
“We do.”
“Then by the power invested in me by various government factions I now pronounce you legally married. Please sign the marriage certificate and consummate your bond with a kiss.”
Namor leaned in and kissed Victor deeply, pulling him close and wrapping his arms around him in a hug at the same time. He felt himself be lifted off the ground a little and squeaked when he looked down to see his small wings fluttering in excitement. He laughed happily as he looked at Victor, lowering himself so they could sign the marriage certificate.
He blushed as everyone behind them cheered and applauded their union, holding each others hand as they looked out at the crowd. He turned and looked at Victor softly. “…Namor Von Doom… I really like the sounds of that.” He grinned as they held each other close.
Victor chuckled kissing Namor back with several soft kisses on his lips and cheeks.
“Good, because Dr. McKenzie doesn’t have the same ring to it.” He took Namor’s hand and they turned to face the guests.
“May I present, for the first time together, the Von Dooms!” The Justice presented them and music began playing as the pair walked down the aisle together. Now a wedded couple.
He smiled broadly at Doom and then everyone in the crowed. “Let’s go party!” He grabbed on to Doom in a tight hug, looking at him with pure bliss and happiness. He’d found his soulmate and he refused to ever leave his side again, leaning in and placing soft kisses on his lips.

Namor stood at the ocean shore, looking out at the lapping waves as he waited for everyone to show up. He smoothed out his royal outfit as he took a deep breath of the sea air. Today was the big day. He didn’t think it would ever come but… here it was! Today he was going to get married to the…
Victor fussed with the buttons of his formal attire. He felt strangely uncovered without his armor but today was not about Dr. Doom marrying the sub mariner. It was about Victor marrying Namor. He cleared his throat and brushed his bangs from his face as music started playing.
He took Namor’s hand and gave him a kiss on the cheek. They’d start the journey of their lives walking the stretch of beach together.
“Ready?” He whispered gently into Namor’s pointed ear.
Namor turned his head and looked at Victor with a broad smile and a nervous fidget. “More ready then I’ve ever been for anything…” He held Victor’s hand tightly in his own as he walked down the stretch of beach with him.
He smiled and gave a soft wave at everyone he passed. All his friends where there to support them both. He couldn’t be happier as they walked between the rows upon rows of people.
Victor entwined his fingers with Namor’s smiling quietly on their walk down the aisle. He gave a nod to Colbert the best man behind them. The wedding party wasn’t much of one at all but at least the service looked nice.
A long silver stretch of fabric extended over the golden sand to an arbor covered in flowers. Underneath was a justice of the peace smiling and waiting patiently. Behind her was the Logomancer in Atlantean ceremonial wear with two strings of polished rocks and pale shells. They were determined that the wedding should be binding both above and below the waves.
Namor couldn’t help but chuckle when he saw Era attacked by sand, giving her a light wave again. He raised a curious eyebrow when he saw Maxwell Lord and Diana sitting together, Max giving him a thumbs up and Diana giving him a sweet smile. He chuckled again as he nudged Doom to look at them as they walked.
His eyes turned and focused on the arbor, smiling broadly at Logomancer. His heart swelled with happiness again as they walked up and stood there. Logomancer reached out and patted Namor’s arm. “You look perfect, my son.”
Victor smiled broadly his eyes already lining with tears as they stood together at the arbor. The waves lapped lazily at the shore and in the sparkling waters he could see the Atlanteans watching the wedding of their king.
A few Latverians had made the trip to watch the ceremony. One being his father’s old friend Boris who had looked after him since the death of his parents. He wouldn’t call him a father figure. But his presence was comforting. He clasped both of Namor’s hands in his own and gave his cheek a gentle kiss.
“That’s not supposed to come until the end of the ceremony.” The justice chuckled.
Victor flushed a little but it wasn’t in his nature not to retort.
“Bah, I may kiss him at any point I wish. It just means I’ll have to kiss him again at the appropriate time.”
Namor chuckled happily, blushing deeply at the kiss. He took a step forward so that he could stand closer to Victor. His heart was pounding in his chest in a mixture of excitement, nervousness, and pure bliss. He’d never felt this way at a wedding before but this? This felt far deeper then anything he’s ever felt before.
Logomancer stepped forward and waved a hand to silence the people. “Please rise?” He waited a moment as he watched all the people stand. His smile broadened as he looked at the Justice with a nod. She nodded back to him and he turned to face the people once more. He opened his mouth and began to speak in native Atlantean. It was clear, even to those who did not speak the language, that he was blessing the couple before him, his voice sounding nearly angelic as he spoke the words of his native tongue.
Victor allowed the Logomancer to place the garland of shells and stones around his neck and the same was done fore Namor. The Logomancer then marked both their fore heads with red paint for prosperity. And they both took a bite of Dankme, an Atlantean bread that symbolized good fortune they would share together. Then Prenksha a bitter sea weed that symbolized tragedy they would bare together.
When Logomancer had finished the Atlantean cerimony the justice looked between the two of them.
“Is there anything you’d like to tell each other before all these witnesses?”
Namor looked at the Justice for a moment before turning his attention back to Doom. His eyes were starting to line with tears of happiness as he held his hands tightly in his own.
“Victor… I stand here and look at how far we’ve come since we first met and I’m in complete shock and awe at how two people so completely different from two completely different lives could come together and enjoy something so vastly beautiful… I want to thank you for all the happiness and love you’ve given me… and I pray that we can continue living with all that love for the rest of our lives…”
Namor smiled broadly, wiping one of his eyes with a light sniffle. He held Victor’s hands tightly in his own, looking deep in to his eyes.
Victor smiled a tear ran down his cheek.
“Namor, I’ve been many things in my life. I’ve been proud, selfish, manipulative, cruel to the utmost. But this is the first time I’ve ever been a good man. You’ve made me a good man my love. And I hope that when we’re gone and out bones have turned to dust that our love will be our epitaph. A monument to the ages. Let this be the beginning of a life time. No, let this be the beginning of an eternity together. I love you my dearest treasure, friend, lover, confidant.”
He couldn’t hold back a sniffle as a few tears dripped from his cheek, leaning foreward and pressing his forehead against Victor’s with a broad smile.
“I love you… Body, mind, heart, and soul…”
His ear gave a soft twitch as the Justice began to speak again, going through the motions of the surface ceremony. “Do you, Namor McKenzie, take Victor Von Doom to be your lawfully wedded husband?”
Namor looked at the justice and then back to Victor. “I do.”

The Wedding of Victor Von Doom & Namor McKenzie

Namor stood at the ocean shore, looking out at the lapping waves as he waited for everyone to show up. He smoothed out his royal outfit as he took a deep breath of the sea air. Today was the big day. He didn’t think it would ever come but… here it was! Today he was going to get married to the man he loved.
He smiled broadly and waved as the Atlanteans started to rise up from the ocean, all wearing their breathing apparatuses. They each stopped and hugged him, giving him warm wishes as they all found seats. Namor turned his head and waved as others from land started to file in. He trotted over and gave Scott Summers and Brad Reddinghall a hug when they arrived, thanking them for coming.
Namor’s heart fluttered a little with nervousness, wringing his fingers as he watched for Doom to arrive.
